Sport Wales: Sport Sector Private Provider Fund closes Friday 19 February 2021

The new Sport Sector Private Provider Fund is now open to help private and commercial providers impacted by the pandemic. The fund is for private and commercial providers who directly deliver physical activity opportunities to the public in Wales. UK Government announces £20 million SME Brexit Support Fund

The Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster announced a £20 million SME Brexit Support Fund to help small businesses with changes to trade rules with the EU. Traders will be able to apply for a grant of up to £2,000 to pay for practical support for importing and exporting. The fund will help businesses to prepare for the implementation of import controls which come into force from April and July. For more information, go to:

‘Green shoots’ vision announced for food and drink industry post-Covid

The Welsh Government has announced a future strategic vision for the food and drink industry as it sets its sights, over the coming years, to be a world leader in sustainability. Leading food and drink figures are set to join forces with Welsh Government as they outline plans to place sustainable practices at the heart of the industry’s post-Covid recovery agenda.
