The #SummerofFun initiative is back and aims to support the social, emotional, and physical wellbeing of all children and young people aged between 0-25. With significant financial investment from the Welsh Government, a variety of community-based interactive, creative, and playbased initiatives that are suitable for a wide range of ages have been arranged.

Through this initiative, we will create safe places for free play and physical activity where children and young people can develop and/or rebuild their social skills.

The Summer of Fun initiative will encourage young people to engage in social, cultural, and physical activities outside of formal learning. Plus, with free activities available in both Welsh and English across the whole of Wales, there’s something suitable for everyone. Free activities to support our young people and help families across Wales with the rising cost of living over the summer months.

The  #SummerofFun page that has been created on Gwynedd Council's Hwb Teuluoedd site where a list of activities for children and young people has been posted here, and more will be added as we receive their information.
